Choose what to stop
- Pause sharing: stops new playback sharing from the browser extension. Your Google connection remains.
- Disable scrobbling: stops future listening submissions to Last.fm. Previous history remains there.
- Disconnect browser: revokes that browser’s playback credential. Disconnect in the extension also clears local pairing and queued plays; uninstalling removes its local storage.
- Disconnect YouTube Music: cancels LoveButton’s Google authorization and removes related Google data. Keep another login linked to continue using this LoveButton account. For a YouTube-only account, use Delete LoveButton account, or revoke access directly at Google.
- Sign out: ends the selected LoveButton session; it is not account deletion or Google revocation.
Delete your LoveButton account
Open Settings → Your account → Delete LoveButton account. Read the confirmation and choose Yes, delete my account. This is available for YouTube-only accounts and before accepting updated legal documents. It invalidates sessions and device credentials, stops queued actions and schedules removal of account-owned server data. This cannot be undone.
A successful request signs you out and returns you to this page. If the request reported an error or its outcome is unclear, contact support to check it; this page alone is not a deletion receipt.
What happens next
Access is blocked immediately when the request is accepted. Google revocation is requested promptly and retried if necessary; account-owned data is removed as soon as possible and within seven calendar days. A temporary Google failure can retain an encrypted token solely to retry cancellation. While cleanup is pending, reconnecting YouTube is unavailable. Revocation can affect other LoveButton sessions using the same Google authorization.
YouTube likes and Last.fm scrobbles already saved remain with those services. Deleting LoveButton does not delete your Google, YouTube or Last.fm account. The browser extension clears local pairing and queues when it detects revocation. Other offline devices may retain local data; use their reset controls or remove the app to clear it.
Revoke independently at Google Account connections. Periodic authorization checks detect external revocation and remove associated Google data within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for routine retention and limited operational/security records.
If you cannot sign in
Email support@bom.li with the subject LoveButton data deletion. Identify the connected channel ID or Last.fm username and explain whether you want Google-data removal or complete account deletion. We verify account control before acting; an identifier alone does not authorize deletion. Never send passwords, access tokens, recovery codes or pairing codes.
